On a sunny, chilly day, Peggy met me at a local park along with her owner, Ian. Ian wanted to get some action shots of Peggy and then a close-up portrait of a 'soft' Peg at a later date.
What an incredible little dog! Peggy's focus & drive are constant as soon as that squeaky ball comes out of Ian's pocket. She can leap as high as his shoulder to try & get the ball. I'm very jealous of her physique - what a waist & jaw-dropping muscles!
In about 20 minutes, I'd taken nearly 200 photos, using burst mode to try and capture Peg flying through the air. I have to say, I discarded 95% of the shots, where I'd just missed her, or only caught part of her tail. She moves quicker than Usain Bolt!
I caught some amazing shots of her. I was so delighted with the results and, even more pleased with Ian's reaction to the finished photos. He's going to display a triptych (three photos in a sequence) of her in three action poses along his hallway.
